What Is the epIQ Index?
The Experience & Performance Intelligence Quotient (epIQ) Index is a performance metric powered by verified ApartmentRatings and SatisFacts data. It provides a clear, report card-style evaluation of resident experience and community performance over a rolling 365-day period.
The epIQ Index helps both renters and multifamily professionals better understand property performance, resident satisfaction, and community engagement.
Key Factors That Determine epIQ Scores
The epIQ Index is based on four primary categories measured over the most recent 365 days and updated daily:
-Renter Ratings: Average ratings from resident reviews and surveys
-Review Count: Number of reviews per unit compared to other communities
-Manager Review Engagement: Percentage of reviews that receive a response from management
-Manager Review Reply Time: Average response time compared to other communities
This daily evaluation means every day presents a new opportunity to improve resident experience and strengthen community performance.
